This audit is a retrospective case-matching exercise looking at patients from 2007.
To undertake a detailed case matching exercise between registered cases of pancreatic cancer by the Northern
and Yorkshire Cancer Registry and Information Service (NYCRIS) and Trust CWT data submissions for pancreatic cancer in 2007 to identify any variation.
The results will be presented by each MDT to the YCN Pancreatic Network Site Specific Group which will suggest possible changes in practice.

Using existing data from PPM in Leeds it is proposed to undertake a retrospective audit of all patients treated via the specialist MDT in Leeds and then track back to their originating Trust to determine the diagnostic pathway and the route of referral to Leeds.
