The Yorkshire Cancer Network is undertaking development of "Information Pathways" for all cancer types. These pathways
are designed to list all the information resources that are routinely offered to patients as part of quality care. In
addition to the list we will offer a link directly to the resource itself; enabling everyone to access the most up to date
version of the information that is currently available.
These lists have been put together as a result of detailed discussion between service users, information specialists,
nurses, doctors and other members of the care team. We hope that you'll find them useful.
Our Information Pathways aim to;
List all of the patient information resources routinely offered at each stage of a cancer journey
Provide direct access to the information resource itself through a web page or PDF version
Offer alternative formats of resources (where this is available)
Give free access to good quality information resources, validated by health professionals and service users
Provide details of local and national support and information services
